So the order book is now open for the Audi S5 Cabriolet in the UK, even though first customer cars won’t arrive until October. Which does seem a bit of a cock-up. Who is going to buy a cabriolet – even a very sorted, draught-free cabriolet – in October?
More on the ‘Recession-Busting’ deals that abound from car makers at the moment. Subaru has come up with a deal for the Impreza WRX Turbo where you can have the car for the same price as the 1994 equivalent – just £17,798. Which in itself is an interesting figure and shows that cars, or certainly the Impreza in this case, have got cheaper in real terms.
The 2010 Nissan GT-R at the Tokyo Motor Show
Nissan brought along a 2010 GT-R to the Tokyo Show last week, so we thought we’d better update you with the changes they’ve made. Nothing too drastic, but tweaks none the less. Nissan has had a play with SatNav on the GT-R and installed a new HDD Carwings Nav system with some extra entertainment functionality.
